PITT published my tenth essay on their lifesaving site today, the one about my daughter’s Jazz Jennings alphabet book report, linked below. If you’re new here, welcome! If you’ve been here a while, whassup.

I haven’t documented until now, on this third iteration of my Substack, my failed fight with Miss Miller’s high school. It began right before her junior year started in August, 2022. PITT was generous enough to publish pretty much all of it, along with a few additional pieces.

Here it all is, with links and brief descriptions, starting with the high school’s “Nondiscrimination Policy Regarding Transgender and Gender Diverse Students,” aka Regulation 259. Hope you find it helpful.

1. A Week in the Life (June 30, 2022)
   My first PITT piece, wherein, as a newly minted ROGD mom, I try in vain to find a middle ground with my daughter. Conflict ensues in the comments section. I am here for it.

2. The Importance of Support and Inclusivity (August 19, 2022)
   Documenting my first discussion with a school employee, none other than Miss Miller’s guidance counselor who idiotically states, “When a kid walks into my office, I’m going to support them.” This is a version of “let the child lead,” to which I respond, fuck that, but in nicer language.

3. Re: Administrative Regulation 259 (September 20, 2022)
   My first email to the principal, superintendent and school board that gets ignored. This one includes choice quotes from the gender policy, like, “…[S]chool personnel should not disclose information about a … student’s gender identity and expression to others, including the student’s parents…”

4. The School Board Director (September 27, 2022)
   Documenting my correspondence with the school board director, who I can’t help but liken to the Wicked Witch of the West. At the time of publication there were 37,000 members of the Detrans Subreddit. Today, there are 50,000.

5. No More Mister Nice Mom (October 4, 2022)

   This is my letter to everyone at the school, including Miss Miller’s teachers, wherein I advise them specifically to refrain from emphasizing my daughter’s “chosen” name and “preferred” pronouns. Out of the fourteen school officials, board members and teachers I address, zero respond.

6. Inside the ROGD Home (November 1, 2022)

   This essay chronicles the erosion of happiness and harmony in the Miller home. From pronouns to talking points, trans ideology truly destroys families. It’s not a right wing conspiracy. I live it. And I live to tell.

7. A Week in the Life — 114 Days Later (November 10, 2022)
   A smorgasbord of gender tidbits at home, in the media and at Miss Miller’s school, and a reprise of my first Week in the Life essay, to calculate the successes and failures of approximately one hundred days gone by.

8. The Pursuit of Happiness (December 15, 2022)

   Neomarxism, postmodernism, capitalism and more. Working to reconcile parenting a fomosexual teen with the Taoist concept: If you don’t trust the people, you make them untrustworthy.

9. Dystopian June (June 13, 2023)

   On Pride Month. Mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore. A “mad as heck” version lives on this site.

10. A is for Authentic Self... (September 14, 2023)

    My daughter’s book report from fifth grade. The beginning of her “gender journey.”

Rereading these essays just now refreshes the fury I feel for that woke indoctrination factory masquerading as a school. But I can laugh. Because she’s almost done. Until then I will keep collecting data about my daughter’s award-winning “high school” and sharing it here.
