Mr M seems to have forgotten that parenting is hard. When we all die and have to face whatever we have to face, he will have to deal with putting his comfort before saving her.

You are my publicly outspoken twin again! I have been pulling back from identifying with my anger and issues. It is amazing finding some relief from "enjoying" the cheeseburger.
Previously I mentioned Michael Singer in a comment. Now I have added Shinzen Young (The Science of Enlightenment) and Scott Kiloby (Natural Rest for Addiction). Blowing my mind how perfectly they are fulfilling the next step for me to find peace. I'm reading their books, not doing YouTube, which also is a nice break.

What I meant by that line is that it's an anti republican dog whistle. It lets me know asap where a person stands. And fwiw I am anti abortion when women use it as birth control. Or when I see a photo of a woman whose T shirt reads, "I've had 21 abortions," and when a TikTok influencer boasts that she's fonder of her dog than the baby she just "abor borred."
